Location Information
The Service may request access to your device’s location when you choose to use your current location to identify the site of a roadway issue. Location access is optional. You may instead search for an address or select a location on the map.
The Service does not use your device location for advertising and is not intended to track your location in the background.
Camera and Photo Library
With your permission, the Service may access your camera or photo library so you can attach a photograph to a service request. Adding a photograph is optional.
Account and Authentication Information
Registered accounts may use email and password, telephone verification, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. Authentication services may provide us with identifiers and basic account information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, or provider-specific account identifier.
Authentication credentials are processed using Firebase and the applicable sign-in provider. NIKALogic does not store your Google or Apple password in the UDOT service-request database.

4. Government and Public Records
Reports are not made publicly visible through the Service.
Information received and maintained by UDOT may, however, be subject to the Utah Government Records Access and Management Act or other applicable laws. UDOT will determine whether particular information must be disclosed, withheld, or redacted in response to a lawful records request.
NIKALogic cannot guarantee that every item submitted to a government agency will remain confidential. Users should submit only information reasonably necessary to describe the roadway issue.
5. Email and Text Messages
Email and text-message notifications are optional. They may include verification codes and updates about a submitted service request.
Message frequency varies according to account activity and the progress of a service request. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages using the instructions provided in the message, including by replying STOP where supported.
Choosing not to receive notifications does not prevent you from submitting a roadway service request.
6. Data Retention
NIKALogic retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate and secure the Service, fulfill UDOT’s instructions, support submitted reports, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable legal and government recordkeeping obligations.
Temporary information, such as verification data, incomplete workflows, and locally prepared photographs, may be removed when it is no longer needed. Information delivered to UDOT may be retained according to UDOT’s applicable policies and government records requirements.
